June TBR

Another month, another TBR!

Last month, I actually managed to read all 3 books that I put on my TBR which was really cool! I am hoping to achieve the same thing this month!

Check out my Summer TBR below!

My “Summer TBR” books

I’ve put both Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and Unfiltered by Lily Collins on my official humongous over-ambitious Summer TBR list and since the temperatures are rising I am currently sweating my ass off as we speak and June is the first month of summer (at least that’s how I see it), I decided why not try and work on that huge Summer TBR!

I’ve added Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins because it’s been on my March TBR and I didn’t get around to it and I told myself I’d read it in May (which I didn’t do lol) so I thought C’MON IT CAN’T BE THAT HARD TO READ THIS!!! Let’s pray I’ll finally pull through 😛

A Classic A Month

You might not know this but I am trying and still failing to read at least one classic a month! So far it hasn’t been going well. Like last month, there are two books that I need to read for class in June but they’re both only around 100 pages long so this should be EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY 😛

The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is part of the Sherlock Holmes books??? Series??? I don’t know??? :’) But yeah, I have to read that one and The Time Machine by H.G. WellsLet’s hope that they will be interesting enough.

And that’s it! Wow, 5 books on my June TBR, that is going to be tough! My mood is probably going to change tomorrow and I won’t be reading ANY of these (except for my required reads) XD

Thank you for reading!

Buttonnnn

Have you read any of the books on my TBR? What did you think of them? Which books do you plan to read in June? Let’s chat in the comments!

I am currently visiting my family in Poland and I won’t be back until next week! This post is pre-scheduled so sorry if I don’t reply to any comments! I’m not ignoring you, I probably just don’t have any Wi-Fi! 😉

  1. Agh, I really have to read Fangirl and Anna and the French Kiss! I read a bit of Eleanor and Park when I was a young young child, and I’ve been wary of Rainbow’s books since then (because of the amount of cussing I read XD ). But that was when I was young and I hope that if/when I read her books now, I’ll enjoy them!

    1. Thank you James! Hahaha, fangirl (or fanboy, whichever term you may want to use) is pretty much just gushing about things that you love? Whether it’s a book or a TV show, you basically just talk about it (A LOT) and share your feelings! Hope that helps XD

  2. Have fun in Poland! I have yet to read Fangirl even though it is one of the many books in my TBR list. I don’t know why but classics put me to sleep. I tried so many times to pick up a classic but in the end, it always fail. So, good luck on that!

      1. I read To Kill a Mockingbird before. It was a book for my literature class. Ahem, let’s just say I found it boring even though messages behind the story is very meaningful and impactful.

      2. 😂 Yep, it is a very powerful and meaningful story. I used to love reading books for classes when I was young. I used to re-read Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz and Alice in wonderland countless times. I guess sometimes it is about the type of books they ask us to read. If my school were to ever ask me to read Caraval for class, I think I would just marathon the book in just one day and keep raising my hand to answer questions in class. 😂😂

  3. I read Anna and the French Kiss last year and really loved it! It’s auch a cute fun book! Perfect for summer tbh! I’m currently reading this savage song by Victoria Schwab and it’s really good so far. The sequel is coming out soon so I plan on reading that too to avoid spoilers haha. I also want to read simon vs cause I really loved the upside of unrequited and fell in love with Becky’s writing 🙂

    1. Yay now I can’t wait to read it! Ohhh, I’ve heard so much about VE Schwab’s books and The Savage Song as well! I really need to read her books soon! And OMG same! I love Becky Albertalli as a person but I haven’t read any of her books! I think she’s the queen of YA contemporaries though because they’re so diverse and awesome! I hope to read Simon Vs this summer as well!

      1. Sorry for the late answer. Just finished reading TSS a few days ago and it’s really good! I can’t wait for this next book. I love how easy it is to read Becky’s books bc they’re so lighthearted and fun.

  4. I’m not really a fan of Fangirl though I managed to finish it. It was boring for me. The only thing I liked is that Cath is SO relatable. But I hope you’ll enjoy it. 😊 And I also hope you’ll enjoy all of them.

  5. I loved Fangirl and hated Anna and the French Kiss 😂😂 Everyone loves that book so much and I had heard so much about Stephanie Perkins’ books being amazing that I gave in and bought the three of them. I really hope you like it though hahaha I seem to be in the minority as regards that book 😂
