Yay, second time in a row!
I’m back today with the #ARCstravaganza meme! Because you can never fangirl enough about ARCs you receive! 😛
ignore that I am a day late
#ARCstravaganza is a weekly meme hosted by YA and Wine to give book bloggers/bookstagrammers a chance to show off the ARCs/eARCs they are excited about! Comment on their weekly posts with a link to your own #ARCstravaganza blog post, or post a picture on Instagram using the #ARCstravaganza hashtag, and you will be entered to win an ARC copy of an upcoming YA novel! One winner will be chosen at random each month.
The Dragons of Nova (Loom Saga #2) by Elise Kova
When I saw The Dragons of Nova on Netgalley’s ‘Recently Added’ front page, I REQUESTED IT IN A HEARTBEAT AND WITHOUT A DOUBT.
I couldn’t have stopped my fingers from moving my mouse over the request button, ticking all four ‘What appeals to you about this book?’ boxes and pressing ‘Send request’ even if I tried! They seemed to have had a mind of their own 😛
At the time, I had only just finished reading The Alchemists of Loom, Elise Kova’s first book in the Loom Saga, and I was so in love with it! The world-building, the incredible characters and that (sort of) cliffhanger left me wanting more!
So when I got approved for the title, you can imagine how happy I was!
*cough, I was squealing and running around my house, cough*
I am currently reading The Dragons of Nova and it is so freaking good! I am so happy to be able to dive back into the world of Loom (and now Nova!) YAY!
By the way, a review of The Alchemists of Loom is up on my blog right now!
“Cvareh returns home to his sky world of Nova with the genius crafter Arianna as his temperamental guest. The mercurial inventor possesses all the Xin family needs to turn the tides of a centuries-old power struggle, but the secrets she harbors must be earned with trust — hard to come by for Ari, especially when it comes to Dragons. On Nova, Ari finds herself closer to exacting vengeance against the traitor who killed everything — and everyone – she once loved. But before Ari can complete her campaign of revenge, the Crimson Court exposes her shadowed past and reveals something even more dangerous sparking between her and Cvareh.
While Nova is embroiled in blood sport and political games, the rebels on Loom prepare for an all-out assault on their Dragon oppressors. Florence unexpectedly finds herself at the forefront of change, as her unique blend of skills — and quick-shooting accuracy — makes her a force to be reckoned with. For the future of her world, she vows vengeance against the Dragons.
Before the rebellion can rise, though, the Guilds must fall.”
Expected publication: July 11th 2017 by Keymaster Press

Here it is!!!! YAY! Oh my goodness. I’m so excited you got an advance copy of this one. I clearly need to pay more attention to Netgalley’s recently added page instead of skipping straight to the YA section. LOL. Oh, I hope you enjoy it as much as the first!

YEEESSSSS!!!! *happy dance*
I always check the recently added section first, just in case 😉 I think Elise Kova recently mentioned that the Loom series isn’t classified as YA! I believe she said something about (New) Adult novels with YA elements so that’s probably why you didn’t find it in the YA section!
Thank you! 😊

Definitely adding that to my daily Netgalley routine. LOL. Yeah, I think it’s new adult, but it reads like a YA for me. And that would definitely explain it!

Haven’t heard of this series before but it looks really awesome!! I’m still baffled and awed when I receive an arc through NetGalley, publishers or authors themselves. I’m currently reading the ARC of ‘a Poison dark and drowning’ by Jessica Cluess, the sequel of a Shadow bright and burning and I never thought I’d be approved for this book but I was and it’s just HJBDFGHJBCDFBDHFGBNHJSBFBHSG amazing to receive such arc’s ❤ Love the post!

Ahhhh you should totally check it out! It’s SO SO GOOD!
And me too! I always get super excited when I receive an email from Netgalley saying that I’ve been approved for an arc 😍
Wooooo!!! I’m so happy you got approved for that one! I’ve never heard of these books before but I can’t wait to hear what you think! And thank you! 😊

I got to meet Elise Kova this past weekend at Utopiacon and she did a reading of Alchemists of Loom and I was blown away. Haven’t read it yet but it sounds like it’s amazing.

Waah! Super jealous you got an ARC of this! I get to be part of a blog tour soon but as I’m not reviewing, I was not provided an ARC. That’s okay. I understand. (And I haven’t read Alchemists of Loom yet, either.) But I’m very excited about this either way! It sounds like it’s going to be good!
